Refresher training session - Assessment of Eutypa Dieback - 29th September 2016

Eutypa dieback assessment training was run in November 2015, encouraging all Clare Valley grape growers to monitor the incidence of the disease in thier vineyards.  Grape growers were encouraged to assess vineyard blocks and submit these assessements to be collated by the association.  As vine canopies were larger than desirable, many growers decided to wait until the coming season to do their eutypa dieback assessment.  A refresher training session will be held on the 29th September 2016 after which the association will be calling for all growers to get involved in assessing their own blocks as part of a coordinated regional program.
